"Merrily We Roll Along" is a musical with a book by George Furth and lyrics and music by Stephen Sondheim. It is based on the 1934 play of the same name by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. The original Broadway production was nominated for several awards for Sondheim's outstanding score and lyrics.
The story revolves around the lives of three friends; Frank, Charley and Mary. But unlike a regular show, it starts at the end! Opening in 1976 at a party in Bel Air, California, the show progressively works back through the most important moments in their lives, and closes on a rooftop in New York City in 1957 - when the three friends meet for the first time. Complicated and confusing, maybe, but just until you get your head around it, and then you’ll love it like us.

“There was certainly nothing, what so ever that was amateur about this show. The standard of singing from the principal characters, combined with the costumes, clever set and excellent orchestra made for an amazing production.” Jekyll & Hyde 2016
